Peoplelink is in partnership with a prominent client in the manufacturing industry. This company is a fast growing innerconnect contract manufacturer hiring a reliable, hard working assembler.
Assembler Shift:
1st shift
Starting at 14.00an hour
Assembler Job Summary:
Read and follow wire harness/ cable assembly instructions.
Route, wire, and assemble electronic components using wire layout boards.
Operate semi-automatic equipment (such as crimp presses, wire twisters, and wire stripers).
Conduct functional and continuity tests of wire harnesses and cable assemblies using friendly test fixtures.
Use a soldering iron to solder wires to connectors.
Assembler Qualifications and Skills:
Previous assembly/ production experience and a strong mechanical aptitude
Motivated, detail-oriented, and excellent hand dexterity
Proficient in basic math skills
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Assembler Essential Job Functions:
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Lifting requirements: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/ or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Ability o distinguish colored wires for accurate assembly purposes
Handle small parts
Perform pull/push monitors up to 10 pounds frequently
